Our Story

Special Forces Tech

ARGOS Naval was born from the ETRACO program — a high-speed rigid inflatable boat originally developed for French special forces operations. The founders saw an opportunity to transform this proven military platform into an autonomous maritime surveillance system.

By adding hydrofoil technology, a proprietary autonomy stack, and multi-domain drone deployment capability, we've created something that didn't exist before: an affordable, fast, and persistent maritime surveillance platform that can be deployed by nations of any size.

Our technology is backed by DGA Innovation (the French defence procurement agency's innovation lab) and has been accelerated through the IN BLUE program in Indonesia, positioning us at the intersection of European defence tech and Southeast Asian maritime security.

Pre-series production takes place in France, leveraging the team's proven manufacturing capabilities and proximity to the French defence ecosystem. As demand scales, series production will be established in Indonesia with local partners, reducing costs and lead times for the primary Southeast Asian market.

This dual-production model ensures quality control through French engineering standards while offering competitive pricing for volume deployments across the Indo-Pacific region.
